John Simm is an English actor whose career began in 1986 acting in various stage productions at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre before eventually going on to train at the Drama Centre London. He would score his first professional role in an episode of the television show, Rumpole of the Bailey. In 1994 Simm scored the lead role of Kendle Bains in Men of the World. However, one of his more notable roles is that of The Master in the iconic science fiction television show, Doctor Who. Throughout the course of his career, Simm has always kept busy whether on stage, in film, or on television playing a diverse array of characters.
