Freema Agyeman is an English actress who is best known for portraying Martha Jones in Doctor Who and Torchwood on BBC. She also had a starring role in the UK version of the popular television show, Law and Order. She would eventually make her US television debut in the CW drama, The Carrie Diaries. Most recently, she has been a series regular on the Netflix original Sense8.
